Wave Manager Software
The Sgnal Forge portable, battery-powered signal generators are configured and operated using the Wave Manager software which comes pre-installed on the signal generator. PC client software is not needed since the Wave Manager software is accessed using standard serial communication utility such as HyperTerminal. The Wave Manager software is used to configure waveforms and to modify the parameters of a running waveform, making it easy to refine your test in real-time. Waveforms may also saved on-board the signal generator for later use.
Auto-Start
The Signal Forge portable signal generators can be configured to automatically start one of the saved waveforms every time it is turned on. This eliminates the need to reprogram the unit when repeating test procedures and enables it to operate in stand-alone, PC-free mode, making repeatative field testing fast and efficient.

- BNC for digital (TTL 3.3V, 2.5V, 1.8V) output
- Dual-row 10-pin header provides external control for: - ASK - BPSK - OOK - FSK - START -
- BNC for 10MHz reference (output on model 1000; input on model 1000E)
- RS-232 connector for remote operation via serial terminal
